Accessibility
Made for everyone to use.
This site follows WCAG 2.2, level AA, and eMAG, the Brazilian federal government accessibility model. Here is what is already on every page.
On this site
- Everything works with the keyboard, with the focus always visible and in reading order.
- Text contrast is above 4.5 to 1 in both themes, checked by a script.
- Dark and light themes switch with the button at the top, and your choice is remembered.
- Animations stop when your device asks for less motion, and the pause button at the top stops all of them, including the moving signs.
- Text is real text, not images: it zooms up to 200% in the browser without cutting anything.
- Each page states its language, so screen readers pronounce it correctly, and headings follow a single order.
- Images have alternative text and form fields have visible labels.
In the Munivia system
- Portals built with Munivia include keyboard shortcuts (1 content, 2 menu, 3 search, 4 footer), contrast and text size controls, an accessibility menu and VLibras, the federal government’s Brazilian Sign Language translator.
- The status of each request is always written out; color only reinforces it.
Found a barrier?
- Tell us through the contact form, with the page and what happened. The team replies to the email you provide and fixes it.
